19th-Century Oak Refectory Table — Compact 153 × 82 cm
19th-Century Oak Refectory Table — Compact 153 × 82 cm
A warm, well-loved refectory table in solid oak, scaled for real homes. The three-plank top with mitred cleated edges sits on trestle ends joined by a softly undulating stretcher. Pegged mortise-and-tenon joints and shaped shoe feet speak to simple, honest country making, while the nut-brown patina and rounded edges give it that welcoming, time-earned character.
Conveniently, the table comes apart—top, trestles and stretcher separate—so it’s easy to navigate through tight hallways and stairwells.
At 153 × 82 cm it’s a friendly size—easy to place in a kitchen or apartment dining room—and will comfortably seat up to six.
