A wooden catchall carved in the form of a curling nautilus shell. Fine grooves radiate from its rounded end and travel along the outside of the bowl, giving a small piece an unexpectedly lively silhouette. The warm grain does its share of the work too.
It would be very good at gathering keys and loose change by the door, rings and cufflinks beside the bed, or paper clips and other wandering desk supplies. It could also hold a few found treasures from the beach, though it might feel that was a little too obvious. Equally happy holding nothing at all.
Condition Good vintage condition, with minor marks and variations to the wood and finish. Please see the photographs for detail.
