Small in scale but big in presence, this mid-century carving feels part guardian, part folk saint. Hewn from a single block of timber, its planes are left deliberately faceted—each gouge a thumbprint of the maker. The shoulders fold inward in a quiet, contemplative pose; light slips across the waxy surface, catching knots and grain like constellations.
