Pair of Terracotta Pan Tile Wall Lights
Pair of Terracotta Pan Tile Wall Lights
A pair of wall lights that feel as though they’ve been lifted straight from the roofline and quietly reimagined.
Formed from terracotta pan tiles, their origins are unmistakable — all warmth, texture, and irregularity — but here pressed into service as something altogether more considered. The surfaces are beautifully raw, pitted and softly weathered, catching the light in a way that feels almost geological.
Each tile is held in place with simple, darkened metal brackets — an honest, utilitarian gesture that suits them perfectly. There’s no attempt to disguise what they are. If anything, the appeal lies in that directness.
When lit, they do something rather lovely. The light spills upward and outward, grazing the wall and softening the edges of the form, while the terracotta itself takes on a deeper, richer tone — somewhere between ember and earth.
They’re not particularly old, but that almost feels beside the point. The material carries its own sense of time — something elemental, architectural, and quietly enduring.
A simple idea, well executed. And all the better for it.
Price is for the pair.
