An early and very rare ceramic wall light by Bernard Rooke.
Both functional and sculptural, the light is a statement of craftsmanship, timeless design and the artisanal qualities that define Rookes legacy in lighting design.
Its organic form and subtle tones give the appearance of a natural object in its most elemental state. Its pierced surface allows light to subtly diffuse whilst also casting an upward light which gently spills onto the wall, creating subtle, textured shadows that echo the forms contours and depth.

Wired with a brass B22 lamp holder. Please note that there is a small "firing" crack to the back which would have occurred during production and is completely stable and superficial.
