A beautifully eccentric piece of mid-century craftsmanship, this sculptural lamp pairs a spray of expressive wirework with a handmade glass “grape” cluster shade — a glowing little constellation perched on a slender copper stem.

The shade itself is formed from dozens of individually blown, frosted glass spheres, each slightly irregular, each gathering the light in its own soft way. When lit, the cluster becomes warm and lantern-like, transforming into something between a pinecone, a bunch of winter berries, and a tiny chandelier held in a cage of wild, dancing lines.

The stem and base are worked in copper with a natural, time-earned patina: earthy, mottled, and full of character. Rising from it is a sculptural flare of wire tendrils — part botanical, part kinetic drawing — giving the lamp a wonderfully animated silhouette, even in stillness.

It’s the kind of object you find in an artist’s studio or the home of someone who collects stories as much as things: handmade, poetic, a little bit surreal. A small piece of functional sculpture that feels alive when lit.
