A tall, amphora-style Grecian urn, hand-made and richly decorated in the black-figure style that echoes the glory of ancient pottery traditions. The ovoid body, flanked by twin loop handles, is painted with a central scene of a male figure running with a flaming torch—framed by architectural columns and intricate borders.
The surface bears an intentionally aged patina, with worn areas revealing the terracotta beneath the black glaze, lending it an archaeological quality. Delicate foliate and geometric motifs encircle the neck, and the pedestal base carries the piece with stately proportion.
